Coaching for people carrying organisational change and decisions that matter

One-to-one coaching for people managing pressure during organisational change. Sessions focus on situations from their working week: a decision that keeps being postponed, a tense meeting or a difficult client conversation.

An initial 6 to 8 weeks of weekly, 45-minute individual sessions for a small group of participants. Online, with in-person sessions possible in Brussels, the Leuven area or elsewhere by arrangement. Available in English, French and Hebrew. At the end of the initial period, we decide together whether to continue.

Who this is for

For leaders responsible for organisational change and for people working in HR, learning or employee wellbeing who are arranging individual support for a defined group.

Situations we work with

  • Decisions with incomplete information: noticing what happens when you need to act without having every answer.
  • Tense conversations: working with hesitation, defensiveness and difficulty setting boundaries.
  • Important client conversations: noticing your reactions and how they affect the exchange.
  • Pressure that continues: recognising strain and exploring how to respond during the working day.

For example: the person leading a rollout begins putting off decisions, meetings become tense and others find ways to work around the difficulty.

In a session, we return to a specific work situation and notice the person’s reactions: tension, breathing or an urge to withdraw or respond immediately. We pause and explore what they might try when a similar situation comes up.

We agree in advance how to review the programme. Session content, notes and individual assessments remain confidential.

What the work covers

Sessions follow what is happening in each participant’s working week. The following themes may come up; they are not a fixed curriculum.

  • Recognising pressure and its effects
  • Noticing reactions during the working day
  • Making decisions with uncertainty
  • Setting boundaries and having difficult conversations
  • Trying practices between sessions
  • Reviewing what has been useful and what to continue

The method is Somatic Experiencing®, a body-based approach applied to real work situations such as meetings, deadlines and decisions. This is coaching, not diagnosis or treatment. The aim is to help each participant respond more deliberately in the situations they are handling now.

Who’s behind this

I’m Amir Alon, a certified somatic coach trained in Somatic Experiencing®. I spent years in tech, first in technical roles, then leading teams through change. I know what it is like to be the person in the room who has to make the decision while nobody has the full picture. That experience informs how I work. I value clear thinking and also pay attention to what happens in the body. I work in English, French and Hebrew.

Practical

Confidentiality: everything said in sessions stays between the participant and me. The organisation receives no individual content, notes or assessments. Progress is discussed only through the observable signals agreed at the start.

→ How we review progress

Before the programme starts, we agree what to review and how it will be discussed. This can include participants’ own reflections and observations about the work. Personal reflections stay within the sessions; organisational discussions concern the agreed work-level indicators. Session content, notes and individual assessments are not shared with the organisation. A before-and-after comparison does not, by itself, establish what caused a change.

Data: no session recordings. Minimal notes are kept privately, not stored on company systems and deleted at the end of the programme on request.

Contract: a simple service agreement, invoiced per person for the initial block. Category for procurement: executive coaching, body-based method.

Delivery: online, 45-minute sessions, in English, French or Hebrew. In-person sessions possible in Brussels, Leuven or elsewhere by arrangement.
